Job Overview

The Sales Associate role involves leveraging your knowledge and experience to assist pet owners in selecting appropriate nutrition and products for their pets. Responsibilities

• Operate the cashier and assist customers with purchases
• Handle merchandise orders, banking tasks, and related paperwork
• Stock small merchandise items under 10 pounds in the sales area
• Perform general store upkeep such as sweeping and dusting
• Help unload deliveries of pet food and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds and stock them appropriately
• Carry out other store duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
• Flexible availability including possible weekend and evening shifts
• Reliable transportation to commute to the store
