Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the Dairy/Frozen department in a clean, organized, and properly zoned state to ensure continuous customer readiness.
• Regularly rotate stock and check for expired items to uphold freshness and quality standards.
• Ensure merchandise pricing and signage are accurate, following established protocols for ordering, markdowns, markups, labeling, and clearance procedures.
• Adhere strictly to cold chain protocols, food safety regulations, including temperature monitoring, thermometer calibration, safe food handling, and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain merchandising displays and promotional features in line with company standards.
• Keep the workspace safe, tidy, and free from hazards by promptly addressing spills, debris, and compliance with health and safety policies.
• Be adaptable to flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support store operations smoothly.

Challenges to Anticipate

• Manage a high volume of tasks effectively in a fast-moving environment, particularly during overnight shifts.
• Maintain physical stamina and focus throughout shifts involving heavy workloads and tight deadlines.
• Perform physically demanding tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, lifting items up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs, and consistently stocking and organizing products.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.40.
