Job Overview
Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen invites enthusiastic individuals to become a Full Time Shift Leader, crucial in delivering memorable dining experiences through authentic flavors and a team-focused environment. This role primarily targets availability for late shifts, starting around noon and concluding by 12:30am.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with managers to train, lead, and motivate the crew while maintaining high energy levels throughout each shift.
- Promote a customer-centric approach by ensuring exceptional service for new and returning patrons.
- Manage food safety standards, cash handling, cleaning routines, and inventory controls diligently.
- Serve as a representative of Guzman y Gomez values, ensuring all employees adhere to company policies and ethos.
- Maintain clear and confident communication with the team to ensure alignment and smooth operations.
- Oversee labour costs and cost of goods sold (COGS) to support store profitability.
- Efficiently handle incoming deliveries, verifying order accuracy against invoices.
Candidate Qualifications
- Experience in leadership or supervisory roles within dynamic, fast-paced settings.
- Proven success in delivering excellent customer service experiences.
- Either has obtained or is willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor certification.
- Either has completed or is open to completing the Responsible Service of Alcohol course.
