Key Responsibilities

• Implement receiving and merchandising standards ensuring efficient teamwork among Associates.
• Engage customers proactively to create positive shopping experiences while maintaining store cleanliness and organization.
• Coordinate merchandise deliveries and prioritize placement on the sales floor for optimal availability.
• Train and guide Associates in processing and merchandising procedures.
• Ensure products are tagged, hung, secured, and properly coded per store policies.
• Collaborate with the Coordinator on Duty to streamline merchandise flow.
• Oversee task completion by Associates adhering to store plans and priorities.
• Monitor team productivity and provide coaching when necessary.
• Maintain back stock by organizing and rotating items for easy replenishment.
• Adhere to merchandising philosophy, signage standards, and maintain backroom cleanliness.
• Comply with recycling and hazardous waste protocols where applicable.
• Communicate effectively with management and Associates about priorities and updates.
• Participate in recognition and feedback processes to encourage team performance improvement.
• Partner with management to identify training needs and support skill development.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, store policies, and promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Contribute to store shrink reduction initiatives and uphold safety standards.

Candidate Profile

• Flexible availability including nights and weekends.
• Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and adapt swiftly to changing directions or unforeseen situations.
• Strong team collaboration skills and effective interaction with supervisors and peers.
• Capability to lift heavy items with or without accommodation.
• Demonstrated ability to train team members.
• Minimum of 1 year retail experience and at least 6 months in leadership roles.

Location and Compensation

Position located at 5 Bel Air S. Parkway, Marshalls Store 0312, Bel Air, MD, USA. Pay range starts from $16.25 to $16.75 per hour, dependent on skills, qualifications, and experience.
