About the Role

Join Star Construction, LLC as a Flagger and play a critical role in maintaining safe travel through public areas near active construction sites by managing traffic flow and performing flagging duties.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic safely using hand signals and paddles at worksite zones.
• Set up safety equipment including flags, cones, signs, and markers.
• Assist with general construction tasks when directed by leadership.
• Adhere strictly to company policies regarding safe vehicle operation.
• Comply with traffic control regulations set by local, state, and federal DOT authorities.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of company vehicles and gear.
• Work effectively under various weather conditions.
• Complete any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. for this employer.
• Possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Hold a valid non-provisional state driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Prior flagging experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions

• Frequently required to work independently in remote locations and perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, standing, walking, and lifting 10-25 pounds.
• Occasionally required to lift between 26 and 55 pounds, use fine motor skills, climb stairs, and work with arms elevated above shoulder level.
