Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals including grilling meats and sautéing vegetables, adhering strictly to kitchen procedures and food safety protocols.
• Ensure high food quality by monitoring preparation processes and addressing any issues promptly.
• Manage inventory levels thoughtfully by overseeing food waste and reordering supplies as necessary.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and sanitized kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment is functional and swiftly repaired if needed.
• Foster teamwork by acting as a role model and coaching back-of-house crew to develop their skills and leadership potential.
• Communicate effectively with both crew and customers to support excellent service and smooth throughput.
• Complete necessary documentation such as Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and follow Inventory Rotation (FIFO) procedures.
• Enforce safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries within the kitchen and amongst staff.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Understanding and ability to convey Chipotle's Food With Integrity principles.
• Proficient in speaking, writing, and comprehending the primary language used at the workplace.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a restaurant environment.
• Availability to work at least four days a week, including at least two days on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, with eight-hour shifts possible on scheduled days.
• Capacity to work a minimum of 32 hours weekly.
