Role Overview
Join Auckland Council’s Property Portfolio team as a Facilities Analyst, where you will help mould the future of Auckland’s diverse property assets. This role is pivotal in leveraging data analysis, system management, and stakeholder cooperation to effectively oversee council-owned facilities and properties. Your work will ensure the availability of reliable facilities and asset information to support daily operations, strategic planning, and ongoing improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and upgrade facilities, asset, and property data using SAP, GIS, and related tools.
- Produce insightful reports and analysis facilitating informed operational, financial, and strategic choices.
- Identify and implement process improvements aimed at boosting efficiency and data accuracy.
- Offer system-related training and guidance to users within the organisation.
- Develop and sustain strong internal stakeholder relationships, serving as a trusted advisor for information and insights.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will be an inquisitive and problem-solving data analyst who embraces transforming complex data into actionable insights. You should be comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholders and focused on enhancing systems and workflows.
Qualifications and Experience
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in a property-related context.
- Proficiency with SAP Real Estate (RE) and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules.
- Competent in Excel and Power BI at an intermediate or higher level.
- Proven analytical abilities and data management expertise.
- Basic understanding of Geospatial information systems.
