Production Supervisor

About the Role

The Production Supervisor will play a crucial role in establishing and executing best practices regarding quality vision, strategy, and processes to optimize operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include identifying training needs and conducting training sessions to minimize process waste and improve production outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the planning team to develop detailed daily, weekly, and monthly assembly schedules for the facility.
• Anticipate demand increases during peak periods to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain and enhance the skill matrix for self and team, organizing targeted training programs, especially for new team members.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives with the production team to decrease machine downtime.
• Oversee production line operations and manpower distribution across all shifts.
• Keep comprehensive documentation of daily production processes to ensure traceability.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues encountered during assembly promptly.
• Inspect finished goods to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations diligently.
• Supervise inspectors, technicians, and staff by providing consistent guidance and constructive feedback.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and temperature-controlled workspace to facilitate the assembly of defect-free, high-quality products.
• Apply data analysis, problem-solving techniques, root cause analysis, and 7 QC tools to support operational excellence.
• Identify defects in raw materials and consumables and report issues immediately to the quality team for resolution or replacement.
• Coordinate with planning to align production activities with targets.
• Manage daily line operations, including raw material and consumable inventory.
• Set clear KPIs for the team and work towards consistently achieving them.
• Promote a self-driven, high-performance work culture within the team.

Educational & Experience Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience on production lines.
• Preferably experienced in an ISO 9001:2015 certified organization.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.
