About the Role
Become part of a community-focused, locally owned and operated store dedicated to delivering health, beauty, and convenience services. At the heart of this role is a commitment to placing the customer first.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead management of customer service operations including handling cash, supervising cashiers, and merchandising efforts.
- Ensure all cashier and merchandising staff adhere to store policies and operating procedures.
- Conduct training sessions and provide continual coaching for cashiers and merchandisers.
- Implement all loss prevention standards; oversee daily cash office inventory and cashier tracking activities, including PC Optimum procedures.
- Maintain professional store image by ensuring staff comply with uniform guidelines.
- Address customer queries related to product locations, rainchecks, and resolve customer complaints within company guidelines.
- Promote participation in customer satisfaction surveys (CSI Survey).
- Ensure shelves are clean, organized, and products are properly rotated.
- Set up and remove product displays as directed by management.
- Maintain store cleanliness, adhere to health and safety protocols, and comply with company policies including loss prevention.
- Perform clerical tasks, banking duties, and fill in as a cashier when necessary.
Qualifications
- Strong planning, judgment, and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to independently organize store operations.
- Effective problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Proficient in computer use.
- Highly organized with effective time management skills.
- Knowledgeable about products and supplies within the store.

Salary and Hiring Details
The hourly wage ranges from $15.80 to $17.50, dependent on experience, knowledge, and regional location of the position. This is a current vacancy. Artificial intelligence tools are used in the candidate screening and assessment process.
