Job description
Overview
The role focuses on supporting the continuous review and improvement of employee relations (ER) policies and procedures at Nakilat. The position entails managing daily ER operations in compliance with established guidelines, while actively contributing suggestions to upgrade the ER systems, including ERP platforms.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintain comprehensive and precise employee data and records within the system, ensuring they remain current.
- Handle timely updates related to employee status changes, compensation adjustments, and organizational role assignments.
- Evaluate, verify, and promptly address employee relations requests following company policies.
- Securely manage and update personnel files, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Address employee inquiries regarding ER policies and procedures effectively.
- Draft official communications such as memos, letters, and employment contracts when required.
- Support dissemination of new or revised policies and regulations among employees.
- Facilitate logistical arrangements for new hires, including hotel and travel bookings.
- Collaborate with the Finance Payroll team to manage payroll processes, including monthly salaries and special allowances or benefits.
- Participate in internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and follow-up actions aligned with audit findings.
- Manage procurement processes related to ER tasks such as purchase requisitions, service entries, and vendor payments.
- Coordinate with employees and health insurance providers regarding entitlements, claims, and coverage.
- Work alongside Insurance and Group Life/Workmen Compensation vendors to produce reports for contract renewals and agreements.
- Generate various reports including KPIs, trend analyses, and customized data upon request.
- Recommend and assist in the enhancement of ER systems, collaborating with IT for configuration and testing.
- Oversee complete separation procedures for departing employees, handling final settlements, exit interviews, and travel coordination.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Between four and six years of practical experience in a comparable role, ideally within the same industry sector.
- Familiarity with HR-ERP systems, with a preference for SAP experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR policies and procedural frameworks.
