Senior Systems Analyst - Finance SAP

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst specializing in SAP Finance to design, implement, and enhance SAP finance solutions for NAKILAT and its joint ventures located in Doha, Qatar. This role focuses on automating manual processes through advanced SAP technologies, supporting finance divisions, and ensuring seamless end-to-end SAP finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment and ongoing enhancement of SAP FSCM, SAP TRM, and SAP FICO modules, providing continuous system support.
• Offer post-implementation guidance to finance users, focusing on modules such as Finance, Controlling, Project Systems, and Treasury.
• Assist finance and treasury teams in successfully executing month-end and year-end closing tasks, including GR/IR clearing, currency valuations, internal order settlements, and balance carry-forwards.
• Collaborate with SAP ABAP developers to design and improve custom SAP developments.
• Implement mandatory legal regulations for Qatar, such as withholding tax rules within SAP.
• Coordinate with the SAP Basis team to structure user roles and authorization matrices, ensuring segregation of duties.
• Develop training content and conduct SAP training sessions for finance end users.
• Identify and implement enhancements to finance processes to streamline and optimize SAP transaction execution.
• Configure system changes, Remote Function Calls (RFC), and address service desk tickets related to SAP FSCM and SAP TRM.
• Support the creation of analytical reports and dashboards leveraging Power BI and SAP Data Sphere technologies.
• Maintain thorough documentation of production support requests, project deliverables, business processes, and configurations.
• Engage with business stakeholders to diagnose issues, provide solutions, and document problem management activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields.
• Professional certifications specializing in SAP FICO or FSCM modules.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of SAP experience, with at least 3 years in a similar role, ideally within the relevant industry sector.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in SAP FSCM, SAP TRM, and SAP FICO modules including comprehensive sub-module experience.
• Strong client-facing, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
• Proficient understanding of SAP S/4HANA, Business Technology Platform (BTP), Fiori applications, and system integrations.
• Experience with business data modeling, especially using SAP Data Sphere.
• Skilled in creating business intelligence dashboards using Power BI.
• Knowledge of SAP integrations with Microsoft technologies and proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Automate and Dataflows.
