Overview
Our Outsourced Technical Services team collaborates with global industry leaders, delivering expert talent for significant projects across Ireland and internationally. We provide rewarding benefits and opportunities for long-term assignments. We seek an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Project Engineer to join our innovative team, supporting client projects on-site, primarily in the BioPharma, Pharma, or Medtech fields.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the execution of multiple capital projects related to Electrical & Instrumentation on client sites.
- Utilize expertise in E&I systems including power distribution (MCCs, DBs, UPS systems) and process instrumentation for monitoring and control parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow, and pH.
- Prepare, review, and approve detailed technical documentation including specifications, single line diagrams, loop drawings, P&IDs, I/O lists, and cable schedules.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations such as IEC, EN, IS, ATEX, and I.S. 10101.
- Support various project lifecycle phases including design, factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), installation, commissioning, and validation activities.
- Operate proactively and independently within fast-paced pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
- This position requires on-site presence.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor of Engineering degree preferred with over eight years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation engineering, particularly within pharmaceutical or life sciences sectors in Ireland or equivalent regulated industries.
- Strong proficiency in Windows-based applications including Word, PowerPoint, Project, advanced Excel, and Access.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential for collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
