Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer

Overview

MVR Technology is seeking a qualified Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer based in Jaipur, India. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance. This role involves ensuring the proper functioning, maintenance, and safety of machinery and electrical systems within an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine electrical and mechanical upkeep of machines and equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, wiring complications, motor issues, panel malfunctions, and problems in control systems.
• Manage mechanical repairs and maintenance involving bearings, pumps, motors, belts, gearboxes, and related components.
• Execute preventive maintenance and address breakdowns efficiently.
• Perform regular inspections of machinery and equipment to discover possible issues early.
• Repair or replace faulty electrical and mechanical parts as needed.
• Document maintenance activities, maintain checklists, and produce reports on breakdowns.
• Ensure tools and equipment are correctly used and maintained.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including electrical safety standards.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to reduce equipment downtime.
• Maintain a supply of critical spare parts and maintenance materials.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Strong command of electrical maintenance practices and components.
• Proficient in mechanical maintenance and repair procedures.
• Knowledgeable about motors, pumps, control panels, wiring, electrical switches, and electrical device components.
• Familiar with mechanical parts such as bearings, belts, gearboxes, and shafts.
• Competent in interpreting basic electrical and mechanical schematics and drawings.
• Experience with preventive and breakdown maintenance processes.
• Basic computer skills for managing maintenance records preferred.
• ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related technical field.
• Additional technical certifications are advantageous.

Experience

A minimum of 2 to 5 years of practical experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance within industrial, manufacturing, plant, or factory settings is preferred.

Eligibility

Eligible candidates include individuals holding a Diploma or ITI certificate, B.Sc in any specialization, B.Com in any specialization, Any Graduate degree, or B.A in any specialization.
