Role Overview

As an Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities will include designing, adjusting, and troubleshooting electrical and electronic engineering assemblies, schematics, layouts, and drawings. You will utilize your technical skills and analytical thinking to conduct engineering analyses, create test documentation, and craft innovative engineering solutions to improve our products. Your role also involves managing component procurement and assembly, sourcing critical parts, and resolving technical challenges to maintain high equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design or update electrical/electronic assemblies, schematics, layouts, and specifications of moderate complexity under general guidance.
• Conduct basic engineering analyses as required.
• Prepare and generate fundamental engineering test reports along with alpha/gamma stage documentation for product launches.
• Manage procurement and assembly processes for electrical/electronic components; identify sources for vital parts and subsystems to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Diagnose and resolve a range of moderately complex electrical problems.
• Develop and apply concepts addressing product and electrical challenges of moderate difficulty.
• Support the formulation of electrical product specifications.
• Effectively communicate complex technical information in clear terms in straightforward situations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 2 to 4 years of pertinent work experience in electrical engineering.

Preferred Skills and Traits

• Strong understanding of key business factors in the industry.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to clarify complex technical information.

Additional Information

• Employment Type: Full-time regular position.
• Workplace: Onsite, Dublin, Ireland.
• Travel: Approximately 10% travel is anticipated.
• Relocation: Not available.
• Compensation: Salary depends on location, grade, expertise, and internal equity. Besides salary, additional benefits include bonus eligibility, stock awards, and comprehensive benefit programs.
