Position Overview
This newly introduced role supports the expansion of ACOR's Perth operations. Collaborating closely with the local team and the wider national Electrical group, the engineer will manage electrical building services projects throughout Western Australia while enhancing ACOR’s market presence locally.
Situated in the newly established Perth CBD office, the successful candidate will join a cooperative multidisciplinary team delivering projects for sectors including Defence, Health, Government, Industrial, and Commercial. This role provides opportunities to engage with seasoned engineers across the region and nationally, tackling technically demanding projects and fostering career advancement. In addition, participation in nationally significant and local projects will broaden client exposure and technical challenges.
Key Duties
- Lead the design and execution of electrical building services projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and assess engineering calculations, technical reports, project specifications, and documents.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and cross-disciplinary teams to ensure project success.
- Offer technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff and designers.
- Establish and nurture client relationships, contributing to business development and growth.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a Degree in Electrical Engineering with consulting experience.
- Demonstrated history of delivering electrical building services projects within Defence, Health, Government, Industrial, or Commercial sectors.
- Possesses robust technical design skills and comprehensive knowledge of Australian Standards and industry best practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, thriving in multidisciplinary team settings.
- Registered as CPEng, NER, and/or RPEQ, or actively pursuing professional chartership.
