Highland Hills, a senior community under Trinity Health, is looking for a committed Dishwasher to help maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. This role is essential in supporting quality dining experiences and safeguarding residents against foodborne illnesses and cross-contamination.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the dishwashing and pot-sink areas ahead of meal times.
• Clean dishes, cookware, and utensils continuously during meal service and store them appropriately.
• Adhere to weekly cleaning routines for the kitchen and its equipment.
• Properly dispose of trash, boxes, cans, and bottles in designated waste areas.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors, walk-in refrigerators, and tile in dining spaces.
• Clean and upkeep floor mats regularly.
• Follow rigorous sanitation protocols to maintain a healthy dining atmosphere.
• Complete daily closing procedures as established.

Qualifications

• Capable of comprehending and executing both written and spoken instructions.
• Ability to lift weights of 50 pounds or more.
• Endurance to stand for long durations.
• Willingness to handle hot liquids, cleaning agents, and contaminated items safely.
• Availability to work shifts that include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfort working in high-temperature settings.
