DevOps / SRE Engineer – AI Cloud

About the Role

Join a rapidly expanding global technology firm based in Singapore specializing in AI Cloud services and GPU infrastructure. As a DevOps / SRE Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting, managing, and optimizing our Linux and Kubernetes platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and oversee daily operations for Linux servers and Kubernetes clusters.
• Manage the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and asset tracking processes alongside regular health assessments of the platform.
• Administer internal systems including OpenBao, Vault, Sonatype, and auditing platforms to ensure smooth functionality.
• Maintain and refine monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch, and Alertmanager to guarantee system reliability.
• Drive security compliance through activities such as CVE patching, remediation, access management, and account audits.
• Support K8s-hosted AI workloads by managing monitoring, role-based access control (RBAC), data backups, and resource allocation.
• Develop automation scripts using Python and Shell to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in roles involving DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Operations, or System Engineering.
• Proficient in Linux and Kubernetes with practical knowledge in deployment, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability platforms like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Strong scripting capabilities in Python and/or Shell scripting.
• Basic familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, networking fundamentals, RBAC implementations, and security controls for infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving aptitude paired with a sense of ownership and adherence to operational discipline.
• Experience or knowledge of OpenBao, Vault, CMDB management, CVE remediation processes, or SOC2 compliance is advantageous.
