Role Overview
The Design Associate is responsible for the complete execution of Kitchen, Wardrobe, and Storage (KWS) design details, ensuring precision, superior quality, and timely delivery of design materials. Collaboration with designers to grasp client requirements and translate them into detailed AutoCAD designs, bills of quantities (BOQs), and consolidated design documents is integral to this role. The associate must adhere strictly to Livspace design guidelines, service level agreements (SLAs), and quality expectations, incorporating feedback from validation processes accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with designers via calls or face-to-face meetings to comprehend client specifications for KWS requirements.
- Develop a thorough understanding of all KWS modules and technical specifications within Livspace’s KWS category.
- Create detailed AutoCAD plans and wall-to-wall elevations for kitchen, wardrobe, and storage spaces.
- Detail electrical points (EPT) and granite specifications relevant to kitchen, wardrobe, and storage designs.
- Prepare KWS bills of quantities using Livspace's design tool, CANVAS.
- Compile coordinated design dockets aligned with BOQ, including accurate annotations and details, following standardized templates specified by Livspace's Central Team.
- Incorporate corrective measures and modifications based on feedback from the Validation Team into design dockets.
- Maintain adherence to stipulated SLAs and consistently meet quality standards in deliverables.
- Participate in training sessions provided by the Category Team to remain current with new module introductions and updates.
Qualifications & Eligibility
- B.Tech or B.E. in Civil Engineering
- Bachelor of Architecture in any specialization
- B.Sc in Interior Design
- Bachelor of Design in Furniture Design or Interior & Spatial Design
