Senior Interior Designer

Overview

This role entails spearheading the entire interior design journey from initial concept ideation to the completion of detailed design documents. It demands refined design sensibilities, robust technical expertise, and the aptitude to produce upscale environments for hospitality, residential, and commercial sectors that reflect the company's vision and uphold its brand standards.

Primary Duties

• Formulate interior design concepts along with mood boards and detailed narratives.
• Develop spatial planning, layouts, and compelling design presentations.
• Create comprehensive drawings, technical specifications, and schedules for materials.
• Curate selections of finishes, furnishings, lighting elements, textiles, artworks, and decorative accessories.
• Collaborate closely with architects, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers, and project teams.
• Produce high-quality 3D renderings and visual presentations.
• Prepare specifications and procurement documentation for furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
• Perform design evaluations ensuring strict adherence to brand guidelines.
• Conduct research on international design trends, innovative materials, and hospitality concepts.
• Engage in presentations to clients and senior management.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a closely related discipline.
• Between five and ten years of experience working on luxury hospitality, residential, or commercial design projects.
• Expert-level skills in Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and rendering tools.
• Profound knowledge of lighting design, material applications, and furniture specification processes.
• A distinguished portfolio showcasing upscale design projects.
• Outstanding presentation and communication capabilities.
• Capacity to manage and lead multiple design projects concurrently.

Preferred Experience

• Engagement in hospitality projects such as hotels, resorts, and branded residences.
• Experience in designing luxury interior spaces.
• Familiarity with international design standards and supplier networks.
