Job description
Role Summary
Delivery Drivers at GSF Car Parts play a vital role in the operations team, representing the company by delivering automotive parts promptly and maintaining high-quality customer service. As the brand's frontline ambassadors, drivers provide valuable customer feedback and play a key part in timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport parts to customer locations within a 40-mile radius.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards consistently.
- Report relevant customer feedback and competitor activity back to the branch.
- Load vehicles following company procedures.
- Collect customer returns when necessary.
- Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks.
- Support warehouse operations as required.
- Assist with delivery transfers between branches occasionally.
Working hours typically average up to 41 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays depending on branch coverage requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of a full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- At least 3 years of professional driving experience.
- Strong familiarity with the local area within a 40-mile radius of the branch.
- Previous experience in a delivery driver role is essential.
- Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain punctuality.
- A customer-focused approach, motivated to exceed expectations.
