Delivery Driver (Zero/Casual Hours)

Job Overview

As a Delivery Driver at GSF Car Parts, you will be an essential member of our team, representing our brand by delivering automotive parts directly to customers and ensuring exceptional service quality. Operating on a zero-hour or casual contract, your role will support branch needs during employee absences or holidays, contributing notably to the organization's strong operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver automotive products within a 40-mile radius of the branch to customer locations.
• Maintain consistently high customer service standards during deliveries.
• Provide timely feedback to the branch regarding customer interactions and competitor activities.
• Follow proper procedures for loading your delivery vehicle safely.
• Collect product returns from customers as necessary.
• Undertake daily maintenance checks on your vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.
• Offer warehouse assistance when required.
• Support inter-branch transfer deliveries as business needs arise.

Work Schedule

The role involves averaging up to 41 hours per week, primarily Monday to Friday, with alternating Saturdays based on branch coverage requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a full UK driving license with no more than six penalty points.
• At least three years of driving experience.
• Thorough knowledge of the geographic area within a 40-mile radius from the branch.
• Prior experience in a delivery driver capacity.
• Strong commitment to excellent customer service standards.
• Ability to manage deadlines effectively and demonstrate punctuality.
• Customer-focused attitude with motivation to exceed expectations and willingness to go above and beyond.
