Multidrop Delivery Driver - Warrington

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Van Delivery Drivers to join our team in Warrington. This role involves transporting lifting equipment, tools, and machinery between customer locations and construction sites. The position requires loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes over both short and long distances.
• Plan delivery schedules and routes in coordination with transport operations.
• Load, deliver, and collect rental equipment promptly and professionally from customer sites.
• Complete all necessary checks and administrative tasks related to equipment hire accurately.
• Secure loads safely following the Safe System of Work standards.
• Fill out delivery and paperwork documentation as required.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections before journeys and carry out basic maintenance as needed.
• Adhere strictly to driving laws and safety regulations.

Candidate Requirements and Attributes

• Previous experience in a driving role handling delivery and collection of equipment at customer locations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold excellent customer service standards.
• Ability to work independently with initiative and demonstrate creativity in suggesting improvements.

Work Schedule and Remuneration

• Day shifts from Monday to Friday.
• Weekly pay at an hourly rate of £14.57 (PAYE inclusive of holiday pay).

Performance Expectations

• Consistently meet delivery time targets.
• Maintain a spotless accident record.
• Load and unload vehicles efficiently at the start and finish of shifts.
