About the Role
As a Delivery Driver at GSF Car Parts, you are a vital member of the team who represents our brand by ensuring timely delivery of automotive parts to customers while maintaining excellent service standards. Your role involves covering for staff absences or holidays under a zero hours/casual contract and supporting branch operations to contribute to the company's overall success.
Main Responsibilities
- Transport parts to customers within a 40-mile radius of the branch.
- Maintain consistently high levels of customer service.
- Provide the branch with feedback on customer interactions and competitor activities.
- Follow proper procedures while loading your delivery vehicle.
- Collect returns from customers as needed.
- Conduct daily vehicle maintenance checks.
- Assist in warehouse duties when required.
- Support inter-branch transfer deliveries as requested.
Working Hours
Average up to 41 hours per week, Monday to Friday with alternate Saturdays depending on branch coverage requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Have at least 3 years of driving experience.
- Demonstrate strong familiarity with the area within a 40-mile radius of the branch.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential.
- Understand the importance of delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain punctuality.
- Customer-minded, motivated to excel, and willing to go above and beyond.
