Delivery Driver

Role Overview

The Delivery Driver plays a vital role within the GSF Car Parts team, acting as the face of the brand by delivering automotive parts to customers while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. This role involves providing valuable customer feedback to help the company uphold its commitment to timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle safe and prompt delivery of products within a 40-mile radius of the branch
• Maintain consistently high levels of customer service during all deliveries
• Provide feedback to the branch regarding relevant customer insights and competitor activity
• Properly load the delivery vehicle following established procedures
• Collect customer returns as needed
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and oversee vehicle maintenance
• Support warehouse operations as required
• Assist with deliveries between branches when needed

Working Hours

Approximately 41 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with alternate Saturdays included in the schedule.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Have at least three years of driving experience
• Strong familiarity with the 40-mile delivery radius
• Prior experience working in a delivery driver position
• Understanding of the importance of delivering excellent customer service
• Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrate good punctuality
• Customer-oriented mindset with motivation to exceed expectations
