Job description
Role Overview
As a Delivery Driver at GSF Car Parts, you will serve as a vital representative of our brand by delivering automotive parts efficiently and providing exceptional customer service. Your role supports the overall success of a high-performing team and sustains our commitment to timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver automotive products to customer locations within a 40-mile radius around the branch.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards during all deliveries.
- Provide feedback to the branch regarding relevant customer and competitor activities.
- Load delivery vehicles following established company procedures.
- Collect product returns from customers when necessary.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and upkeep to maintain operational standards.
- Support warehouse operations as needed.
- Assist with inter-branch transfer deliveries occasionally.
Working Hours
Average 41 hours per week, Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturdays.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of a full UK Driving Licence with no more than six points.
- At least three years of driving experience.
- Strong familiarity with the geographical area within a 40-mile radius of the branch.
- Prior experience in a delivery driving role.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to meet deadlines with dependable punctuality.
- Customer-focused, motivated, and willing to exceed expectations.
