Job Overview

This position is responsible for designing and developing project data models that satisfy organizational requirements and align with the Enterprise information model. This involves creating conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will support the development and governance of both project and enterprise data models, including establishing data modelling standards and procedures. These efforts ensure adherence to Enterprise data policies throughout project delivery.

Experience & Expertise

• Extensive background as a data modeller or in similar IT roles with multiple years of experience.
• Proven leadership in creating data models and overseeing project data modelling deliverables.
• Hands-on experience with Azure or other cloud-based data and analytics platforms.
• Expert use of Erwin as a data modelling tool.
• Comprehensive knowledge of data modelling capabilities, principles, and policies.

Technical Skills

• Mastery of Logical, Physical, and Dimension Data Models, with ability to produce logical and physical designs.
• In-depth knowledge of data warehousing methodologies such as Data Vault, Third Normal Form, and Kimball frameworks.
• Experience working with industry reference data models, e.g., Teradata-FSLDM, IBM Industry financial or utilities models, to deliver organizational data models.
• Strong grasp of enterprise modern data architecture patterns and processes.
• Knowledge of data management principles, modelling standards, and naming conventions.
• Understanding of data ingestion, consumption, access, authorization, ETL design, and frameworks.

Communication & Collaboration

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and developers to gather requirements and enhance data models.

Qualifications & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
