Job Overview

XPT Software seeks a seasoned Full Stack Developer proficient in both frontend and backend technologies to join their Sydney-based team. This role demands comprehensive expertise in React.js for building interactive user interfaces and strong backend skills using Node.js and Express.js. Basic familiarity with Python scripting is considered advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable web applications encompassing full-stack capabilities.
• Implement responsive and reusable frontend components utilizing React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Create and sustain backend services and APIs via Node.js and Express.js frameworks.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs to enhance application functionalities.
• Bridge frontend components with backend services and external APIs.
• Produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to the team’s coding standards.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across the frontend, backend, and integration points.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and rectify defects to uphold software quality.
• Work with database systems to manage data access and integration strategies.
• Assist in deployment processes, release management, and environment configurations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, business analysts, and product owners.
• Engage actively in Agile development practices, including sprint planning and technical discussions.
• Contribute to the software’s performance optimization, security hardening, reliability, and maintainability.

Required Skills
