Job Overview
We are seeking a developer or DevOps professional proficient in building and exposing APIs, focusing on strong, standards-compliant implementation. The APIs to be developed are well-defined, requiring execution in alignment with specific technical specifications.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement APIs using the APIGee platform adhering to internal API standards and TM Forum (TMF) guidelines.
- Assist in productizing deliverables from the development process.
- Adhere to specified API standards, such as TMF Open APIs and CAMARA, focusing on implementation rather than architectural innovation.
- Collaborate effectively with platform teams, including those involved in OpenShift migration efforts.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven development experience in API design and implementation, particularly RESTful or similar technologies, with familiarity in TM Forum (TMF) Open API standards and CAMARA.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to facilitate the building and deployment of API services.
- Working knowledge of platform environments like Kubernetes or OpenShift is advantageous.
- Capability to follow defined API and architectural standards with minimal supervision.
- Exposure to telecommunications or OSS domains is beneficial but not a requirement.
