As a Data Architect within the Infrastructure Platforms, Data & Specialty Services team, you will design high-quality data architecture solutions for varied software applications and platforms, playing a critical role in fulfilling the firm's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement data architecture solutions and troubleshoot technical issues innovatively beyond standard approaches.
• Utilize enterprise-approved AI tools to accelerate data architecture analysis and design documentation, ensuring data sensitivity and security compliance.
• Develop and maintain secure, high-quality production code and synchronous algorithms.
• Generate data architecture and design documents for complex applications, ensuring software codes meet design constraints.
• Review and provide constructive feedback on data architecture designs.
• Represent the team in architectural governance forums.
• Lead architecture efforts by assessing new technologies against existing standards to promote modern architectures.
• Analyze extensive diverse data sets to detect patterns and enhance data frameworks, applications, and systems.
• Participate in data architecture communities of practice and events to explore emerging technologies.
• Incorporate reuse-first and AI-assisted practices within SDLC routines to elevate data quality, design validation, traceability, resiliency, and security.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related field.
• Formal training or certification in data architecture concepts with over 3 years of practical experience.
• Strong expertise in one or multiple software applications and data architecture development.
• Hands-on experience in leveraging enterprise-authorized AI capabilities responsibly, with keen awareness of data sensitivity and validation of AI outputs.
• Competence in evaluating and validating AI-based data architecture suggestions to ensure alignment with security, resiliency, and audit standards.
• Ability to assess and recommend optimizations to current data architecture technologies.
• Practical knowledge in system design, application development, testing, and maintaining operational stability.
• Proficient coding skills in at least one programming language.
• Experience developing, debugging, and sustaining code within large corporate environments using modern programming and database query languages.
• Familiarity with SDLC processes including agile methodologies, continuous integration/delivery, application resiliency, and security best practices.
• Understanding of software applications and technical processes in specialized areas such as Cloud, AI/ML, mobile, or others, including cloud technologies.
