Data Analyst

Overview

This role involves detailed data analysis and forecasting to support supply chain activities within equipment systems management. The Data Analyst will work closely with the Technical Supply and Technical Planning Departments to optimize inventory and ensure operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare annual supply forecasts to contribute to the Annual Service Plan.
• Analyze incoming supplies from OEMs, vendors, and inventory levels, including store-level repairable items for specified equipment systems.
• Collaborate with Technical Supply and Planning teams to recommend appropriate stock levels and create assessment reports on inventory balances.
• Examine inventory records and advise on optimal stock quantities for main storage locations.
• Set safety and reserve stock levels for critical line items to guarantee operational readiness.
• Coordinate maintenance trends and spare parts status for assigned platforms with Technical Planning.
• Manage and update spare parts master data and support demand analysis for assigned platforms.
• Provide insight into spare parts status and maintenance trends to Technical Supply as needed.
• Assist in requisitioning authorized supplies required for equipment system support.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN management principles.
• Ensure tools, test equipment, and high-value items are routinely inventoried, maintained, and secured.
• Support fellow material section team members in their duties.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and security regarding company documentation.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by the Material Manager.
