About the Job

Al Raya Group, a rapidly expanding enterprise in real estate and hospitality sectors, seeks a dedicated General Technician in Abu Dhabi to perform ongoing maintenance and repair tasks within our hotel facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute both preventive and corrective maintenance involving electrical systems, plumbing, air conditioning, and general fixtures.
• Address maintenance requests promptly from guests and internal departments.
• Regularly inspect guest rooms and common areas to detect necessary repairs.
• Keep detailed maintenance records and notify management about recurring issues.
• Support minor renovation projects including painting and installing equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols when operating tools and machinery.
• Collaborate with external contractors or vendors for specialized repair tasks.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess 1 to 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician, ideally within the hospitality industry.
• Familiarity with fundamental electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Competent and safe use of hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving capability and ability to work independently.
• Basic proficiency in English is advantageous.
• Availability for on-call duties to manage urgent maintenance issues.
