About the Role
Joining as a Customer Assistant offers an excellent chance to gain valuable experience, whether it is your first job or you have prior retail experience seeking a fresh challenge. Reporting onsite to the Assistant or Store Manager, duties may include operating tills, advising customers, or working in the back shop.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers by listening to their needs, answering questions, providing advice on products, suggesting additional items, and offering baskets to enhance their shopping experience.
- Familiarize yourself with in-store promotions and schemes and actively promote them to customers.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the store by ensuring correct product displays, delivering excellent till service, and helping manage stock in storage areas.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, well-presented store environment that fosters pride and a positive shopping atmosphere.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Complete training will be provided.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with a fast-paced workflow.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Enjoy teamwork and support a collaborative team culture.
- Recognize the importance of small details in creating great customer interactions.
- Motivation to be a brand ambassador for Boots and assist customers in selecting suitable products.
- Previous experience with customer service is advantageous but not mandatory.
