Job description
Role Overview
As an Assistant Manager at Boots Ireland, you will assist the Store Leader in consistently achieving excellent customer service and operational standards by deeply understanding customer needs. Your leadership will span both retail and pharmacy sectors, where you will actively engage on the shop floor, setting an example in delivering outstanding service and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth through dedicated care for customers and patients.
- Manage team performance and development via ongoing coaching and performance evaluations.
- Ensure a sustainable and efficient retail and pharmacy operation by maintaining stock levels, controlling costs, reducing losses, and meeting customer expectations.
- Perform regular audits, risk assessments, and reviews to uphold safety standards for patients and the public.
- Analyze data and trends to swiftly adapt to evolving customer needs.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven experience leading teams in customer-facing environments.
- Ability to inspire and guide a team towards achieving performance objectives through coaching.
- A collaborative approach suited to thriving in team-oriented settings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in community pharmacy operations.
- Comfortable adopting new technologies and tools.
