Job description
Position Overview
This role involves courteous and efficient collection and delivery of packages along a designated route, ensuring all shipments comply with company service standards, and offering related customer support.
Primary Duties
- Pick up and deliver shipments on assigned routes with professionalism and timeliness
- Verify shipments meet Federal Express Canada service requirements
- Engage with customers providing exceptional service and support
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Capability to lift up to 70 lbs and maneuver packages weighing as much as 150 lbs using proper equipment
- Minimum one year of customer-focused business experience preferred
- Successful completion of mandatory pre-placement driver assessment
- Basic familiarity with company operations and Canadian customs regulations is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure
- Flexibility to work varied schedules and holidays as required
Additional Details
Position is specifically for a domicile courier operating out of Estevan, Saskatchewan.
Compensation is $22.60 per hour.
