Job description
Job Overview
This position involves providing polite and efficient pickup and delivery of packages along a designated route. The role requires ensuring all shipments meet Federal Express Canada’s service standards while delivering excellent customer service.
Essential Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Capability to lift up to 70 lbs manually and maneuver packages weighing as much as 150 lbs with proper equipment
- Preferred one year of experience in customer-focused business environments
- Successful completion of mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training
- Basic understanding of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service aptitude
- Capability to multitask, perform under pressure, and adapt to a fast-paced work environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours including holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingualism (English and French) required if residing in Quebec
- Driving license requirements: Class 5, G, or 1 (AZ) with no more than two violations or accidents within the prior 24 months
- Completion of driver competency assessments as part of the selection process
