Job description
Position Overview
The Contracts Manager will oversee the organization's global contracting processes throughout tendering, bid preparation, contract formation, and procurement stages. This role involves reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and standardizing contractual agreements for client and supply chain interactions, ensuring contractual risks are managed effectively and obligations are appropriately cascaded across various agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine client contract documents in tender and pre-award phases.
- Develop contractual risk evaluations, qualifications, and outline tender contractual positions.
- Draft and negotiate agreements related to pre-bid, cooperation, and consortium arrangements.
- Create and manage supply chain contracts, including purchase order terms, subcontract agreements, and service contracts.
- Ensure seamless transfer of client contract obligations into supplier and subcontractor agreements.
- Facilitate contract governance, standardization, and risk oversight activities.
- Provide comprehensive contractual assistance to Tendering, Supply Chain, Projects, Legal, and Finance teams globally.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a law degree or equivalent legal credentials plus 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in EPC, engineering, or construction contracts.
- Alternatively, candidates with a non-legal degree but significant pre-contract and contract formation expertise in EPC or construction sectors, preferably coupled with an MBA, LLM, or comparable postgraduate qualification. This route requires around 15 years overall industry experience with at least a decade focused on pre-contract and contract establishment roles.

- Capability to deliver support for contracting activities across multiple global regions.
