Role Overview
The Lead – Planning – Site is tasked with creating and overseeing detailed construction schedules and the planning framework for the project site. This role integrates project scope, cost, and timeline factors to enable precise progress monitoring and facilitate timely project delivery. Additionally, it offers critical planning assistance to execution teams, maintains alignment with the master baseline schedule, and drives project success through proactive progress tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive Level 2 and Level 3 project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project in accordance with contractual deadlines and baseline plans.
- Convert work scope and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) into structured work breakdown structures (WBS) with logically linked activities, defining durations, milestones, and required resources.
- Collaborate with design, procurement, execution, and subcontractor teams to collect schedule-related data and ensure synchronization between planning efforts and onsite activities.
- Create weekly and monthly look-ahead schedules and conduct review meetings to identify critical and near-critical tasks demanding immediate focus.
- Track and revise project timelines with actual progress inputs, assess schedule variances, forecast delays, and propose mitigation strategies.
