Role Overview
The Busser's role is vital in creating memorable dining experiences by maintaining clean, safe dining environments, encouraging guests to return.
Key Responsibilities
- Clear tables by removing dishware and napkins after customer meals and returning them to the kitchen.
- Keep floors and chairs near dining tables clean by regularly sweeping and mopping.
- Ensure glassware, silverware, and dishware are sufficiently stocked at all times.
- Clean, sanitize, and reset tables promptly following meals.
- Refill table condiments such as salt and pepper.
- Support servers by assisting with food deliveries.
- Maintain cleanliness and stocking of designated service stations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A genuine desire to care for others, along with motivation to grow and learn.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
- Ability to efficiently wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris from floors, and clean booth seats throughout the restaurant.
- Capacity to carry plates, glasses, and baskets between dining areas, service bars, and the kitchen approximately 30 times per shift.
- Mobility to remain active and on your feet for the entire shift.
Physical Demands: This role requires frequent movement throughout the restaurant and interaction with guests. You must be able to move and grasp items weighing up to five pounds, occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds, and perform bending and stooping actions. Adequate vision is necessary to assess cleanliness and operate touchscreen devices. Reasonable accommodations can be made for disabilities to perform essential tasks.
