Position Overview: Busser
As a Busser, your mission is to foster a welcoming ambience by maintaining clean and safe dining areas, enhancing guests' desire to return.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Clear tables by removing dishware and napkins post-meal and return them to the kitchen.
- Sweep and mop floors and chairs near dining spaces to ensure cleanliness.
- Monitor and replenish glassware, silverware, and dishware stock as needed.
- Sanitize and reset tables efficiently after use.
- Refill table condiments such as salt and pepper.
- Support servers in delivering food.
- Maintain cleanliness and restock items at designated service stations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Willingness to care for customers and engage in personal and professional growth.
- Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Proficient in cleaning all parts of the dining area including wiping tables, table legs, booth seats, and removing debris from floors.
- Capable of transporting plates, glasses, and baskets approximately 30 times per shift between the dining room, service bar, and kitchen.
- Physical stamina to remain mobile throughout the entire shift.
Physical Requirements
This role involves various physical activities including:
- Moving through the restaurant and interacting with guests.
- Handling items weighing up to 5 pounds regularly and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Bending and stooping during tasks.
- Having vision sufficient to identify cleanliness standards and operate a touchscreen device.
