Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Waiter to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is essential in delivering outstanding dining experiences by providing professional, attentive service to all guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome and seat guests, creating a pleasant first impression.
• Present menus, including daily specials, and clarify dish details, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Accurately record food and beverage orders using the point-of-sale system.
• Promptly and professionally serve food and drinks.
• Ensure tables are properly set with suitable linens, crockery, glassware, and cutlery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout service.
• Handle payments accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to guarantee accurate and timely order delivery.
• Respond professionally and swiftly to guest concerns, escalating to management when necessary.
• Assist in opening and closing duties, including restocking and cleaning assigned areas.
• Stay updated on menu changes, restaurant policies, and relevant local events.
• Strictly follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Previous experience as a waiter in a dynamic restaurant setting.
• Excellent customer service skills with a courteous, professional manner.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Attention to detail with strong memory and multitasking skills.
• Competency with POS systems and managing cash or card transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene best practices.
• Physical endurance to stand and walk for prolonged durations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic mathematical skills for bill calculations and payment handling.
• Passion for food and beverage service.
• Excellent time management and organization capabilities.
• Ability to remain composed and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages such as Arabic are advantageous.
