Role Overview

As a Kitchen Porter at Hampton by Hilton Bristol Airport, your role goes beyond maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining spaces. You contribute to crafting memorable guest experiences by ensuring everything is spotless and well-organized, spreading warmth and hospitality during each shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Adapt to variable shifts, including breakfast and dinner services, aligning with business demands.
• Keep all serviceware immaculate by cleaning chinaware, silverware, cooking utensils, as well as scrubbing pots and pans and polishing silver items.
• Manage stock supplies and equipment, ensuring they are well stocked and systematically arranged to support smooth operations.
• Perform critical cleaning duties in the kitchen, such as mopping floors and disposing of waste to maintain hygiene standards.
• Assist in event setups by preparing and arranging clean serviceware for banquets and other functions.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety standards, especially when handling hazardous materials, and comply with all hygiene protocols.
• Communicate promptly any identified hazards or maintenance issues to supervisory staff to enhance safety and functionality.
• Guide and mentor new team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to boost overall team effectiveness.
