Bartender

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bartender to become a valued member of our dynamic team at the busy Victoria Hotel in Galway. Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will play a key role in delivering friendly and efficient service to our hotel guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Consistently exceed guest expectations with skilled preparation and service of cocktails and beverages.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar area adhering to all sanitation and hygiene standards of the hotel.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues during shifts to foster strong teamwork and positive morale across the hotel.
• Provide accurate, knowledgeable, and comprehensive service to all guests, including making confident recommendations to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Promptly address and resolve guest requests and concerns with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
• Assist in managing bar deliveries and maintaining inventory stock efficiently.
• Attend mandatory training sessions as required by department management or hotel leadership.
• Report any defective or malfunctioning equipment and ensure follow-up on maintenance issues to guarantee timely resolution.
• Follow all financial protocols strictly, particularly guest billing procedures and the accurate closing and balancing of shifts.

Essential Qualifications

• Previous experience in bartending and cashier roles is mandatory.
