Role Overview
The Business Development Representative will serve a crucial function within the sales team by cultivating a robust sales pipeline through targeted outbound initiatives. Collaborating directly with UK-based Account Executives, the role includes researching and engaging potential clients, qualifying prospects with strategic frameworks, and effectively transferring promising leads for further development. This dynamic position relies on personalized outreach, meticulous pipeline management, and continual improvement of outreach tactics to foster business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted LinkedIn outreach campaigns focusing on CTOs, Heads of Engineering, and senior decision-makers.
- Develop a well-qualified sales pipeline by identifying and engaging accounts fitting the ideal customer profile, arranging qualified meetings for UK Account Executives.
- Collaborate closely with UK Account Executives to ensure alignment on account strategies and seamless transition of qualified leads.
- Utilize MEDDPICC qualification methodology to assess business needs and qualify prospects prior to handoff.
- Meet or exceed activity and performance goals through structured daily outreach, achieving engagement and meeting objectives.
- Maintain accurate records in HubSpot and manage outbound sequences using platforms such as HeyReach, Smartlead, and Clay/Apollo.
- Continuously test and refine outbound messaging and sequencing to boost response rates and conversion results.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in the staffing sector, especially in staff augmentation, tech talent-as-a-service, IT staffing, or technology recruitment, is mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience working with UK and/or US clients, familiar with their procurement processes and business environments.
- Proven skills in outbound sales and business development with a focus on establishing long-term client partnerships.
- Track record of engaging senior technical leaders such as CTOs and Heads of Engineering through prospecting.
- Expertise in LinkedIn-driven outbound prospecting within technology staffing, recruitment, or related B2B sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of the staffing and talent marketplace including buyer motivations, objections, and decision-making patterns.
- Excellent command of written English with a personalized communication style rather than mass outreach approaches.
- Highly organized, capable of managing extensive prospecting activities with precision and care.
- Self-motivated, resilient, results-oriented and available to work UK business hours effectively in collaboration with a remote UK team.
Additional Benefits
- Familiarity with MEDDPICC qualification frameworks.
- Opportunity for uncapped commissions and clear paths for career advancement.
- Fully remote working arrangement based in India, coordinating with a London-based team.
- Generous vacation allowance.
- A chance to grow a sales career within a fast-growing firm having global reach.
