Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Development Representative responsible for driving lead generation through strategic outbound prospecting. Collaborating closely with UK-based Account Executives, you will research and engage potential clients, qualify leads, and ensure smooth transition of opportunities to the sales team. This dynamic position emphasizes personalized outreach, pipeline development, and accurate CRM maintenance while adapting outreach strategies to improve results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead targeted LinkedIn campaigns focusing on CTOs, Heads of Engineering, and senior decision-makers.
- Develop a solid, qualified sales pipeline by identifying ideal customer profiles and securing meetings for UK sales colleagues.
- Align with UK Account Executives to coordinate messaging and account strategies ensuring seamless lead handoff.
- Conduct initial qualification of prospects utilizing MEDDPICC methodology to uncover true business needs before escalation.
- Consistently meet outreach and performance targets by maintaining structured daily engagement activities.
- Accurately manage CRM data in HubSpot and oversee multi-platform outbound sequences using tools such as HeyReach, Smartlead, and Clay/Apollo.
- Continuously experiment with and refine messaging and outreach sequences to boost engagement and conversion rates.
Candidate Requirements
- Essential experience within the staffing industry, preferably staff augmentation, tech talent services, IT staffing, or technical recruitment.
- Demonstrated track record working with UK and/or US clients, understanding their procurement processes and commercial environment.
- Proven business development or outbound sales expertise focused on establishing long-standing client relations rather than one-off deals.
- Experienced engaging senior technical leaders such as CTOs and Heads of Engineering through outbound approaches mainly via LinkedIn.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the staffing and talent market, including common buyer challenges and decision-making factors.
- Exceptional written communication skills in English, emphasizing tailored outreach over high-volume, impersonal messaging.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage a substantial volume of prospecting efforts without sacrificing accuracy or detail.
- Self-driven, resilient, and motivated by targets, capable of working UK business hours and coordinating with UK-based colleagues.
Benefits
- Experience with MEDDPICC qualification framework.
- Unlimited commission earnings and well-defined opportunities for career advancement.
- Fully remote role based in India, collaborating regularly with a London team.
- Generous vacation allowance.
- Opportunity to advance your sales career within a fast-growing company with global aspirations.
