Role Overview
The Business Development Representative (BDR) will spearhead outreach to prospective clients and foster relationships with both new and existing customers. This position requires close cooperation with Mid-Market and Enterprise Account Executives as well as Marketing teams to produce qualified leads, arrange meetings, and cultivate new business opportunities. Motivated individuals who thrive under sales targets and demonstrate initiative will succeed here. Comprehensive training, mentorship, and resources will be provided to support professional growth within Box.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate qualified sales meetings and opportunities for Mid-Market or Enterprise Account Executives by adhering to Box’s qualification guidelines.
- Engage decision-makers within targeted accounts to initiate exploratory discussions.
- Develop strategic targeted account lists based on thorough research within assigned territories.
- Reach out to potential clients through phone and email to assess their needs and requirements.
- Utilize Salesforce to manage leads and monitor sales metrics according to company standards.
- Coordinate efforts across multiple internal teams to optimize results.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of one year experience in sales or business development, preferably with enterprise clients.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Strong skills in managing time and priorities.
- Proven aptitude for building and nurturing relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in additional languages such as French or German is advantageous.
- Demonstrated success in addressing customer needs and resolving complex challenges.
- Track record of meeting goals in fast-paced, dynamic settings.
Work Environment and Culture
Box emphasizes in-person collaboration with employees expected to work onsite at least three days per week at the assigned office. The European headquarters is located in the White Collar Factory on Old Street, with additional offices in Paris, Munich, Amsterdam, and Warsaw.
