BIM Coordinator – Major M&E Projects

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled BIM Coordinator to contribute to the digital delivery and coordination of complex mechanical and electrical projects. This role focuses on utilizing advanced BIM methodologies to create clash-free, buildable models and support seamless construction workflows for sizable projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate multi-disciplinary MEP models on large construction assignments.
• Oversee clash detection and resolution using Navisworks and Revit software.
• Assist in producing coordinated, buildable models along with construction documentation.
• Ensure adherence to BIM Execution Plans and ISO 19650 standards.
• Manage digital project data within Common Data Environments such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Procore, or Viewpoint.
• Create 2D drawings, detailed sections, schedules, and 3D visualizations derived from models.
• Collaborate closely with Design and Project teams throughout project phases.
• Support digital handover processes and as-built model creation.
• Coordinate BIM models received from subcontractors and integrate them with the master project models.
• Participate actively in coordination meetings, workshops, and project evaluations.
• Promote prefabrication and off-site manufacturing by ensuring precise model coordination.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience as a BIM Coordinator or Technician, specifically in the M&E or Building Services sectors.
• Proficient with Revit MEP and Navisworks Manage software tools.
• Experienced in coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health engineering services.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards, including ISO 19650 and digital construction workflows.
• Familiar with Common Data Environments management.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate diverse project teams.
• Skilled in handling multiple priorities and teamwork within complex project environments.
• Attention to detail paired with strong problem-solving capabilities.
