B&F Supervisor

Position Summary

The B&F Supervisor ensures effective teamwork among staff to deliver optimal service and meet guest requirements. Responsibilities include inspecting staff appearance, managing opening and closing procedures such as preparing supplies and cleaning, monitoring dining room conditions, and overseeing inventory and maintenance tasks.

Additional Duties

• Oversee proper grooming and attire of staff, addressing any issues.
• Perform scheduled inventory counts and request necessary supplies.
• Monitor guest seating availability, safety, and overall experience in dining areas.
• Submit maintenance work orders as needed.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, employee evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for company policies related to fair treatment and open-door communication.
• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies including accident and injury reporting.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality of company information.
• Welcome guests according to company standards and provide attentive service including assistance to guests with disabilities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests.
• Build positive relationships within the team, support shared objectives, and address employee concerns appropriately.
• Ensure quality standards are met and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Physically, the role requires standing, sitting, or walking for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, working in confined spaces, climbing stairs or ramps, and performing fine motor tasks.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• No specific licenses or certifications required.
