Job description
Overview
This role is centered around creating a memorable and distinctive guest experience through expert beverage service. Bartenders are expected to stay abreast of current trends, local specialties, and the evolving needs of guests while acting as a welcoming host beyond just serving drinks.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality and flawless beverage preparation and service.
- Maintain the bar's cleanliness and functionality consistently.
- Foster relationships within the hotel and local community to better anticipate and fulfill guest expectations.
- Ensure excellent guest interaction, going beyond beverage service to oversee guest satisfaction in the space.
- Adhere to company policies including safety protocols, asset protection, and confidentiality.
- Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards at all times.
- Perform physical tasks involving extended standing and moving, as well as lifting or manipulating objects up to 25 pounds.
- Take on any additional reasonable duties as requested to support business and guest needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least one year of relevant work experience in a similar role.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No certification or license mandatory for the position.
