Backend Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a Backend Engineer to join a partner company of Haystack. This role involves designing and improving backend systems and APIs, refining codebases, and actively engaging in technical collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and enhance backend systems and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
• Design robust interfaces and data structures tailored to project needs.
• Refactor and optimize existing code to improve performance and maintainability.
• Participate actively in code review sessions to share knowledge and elevate code quality.
• Take ownership of technical decisions and classification within project scopes.
• Support efforts towards quality assurance, maintainability, and team collaboration.
• Develop automated tests and uphold sustainable software development practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A completed degree in computer science or an equivalent educational background.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in backend software development.
