Role Overview
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and systems primarily focused on back-end development within BluViu. Operating with limited supervision, the software engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver and enhance software features aligned with user requirements and organizational objectives. Responsibilities include producing clean, efficient, and scalable code, troubleshooting moderately complex technical issues, as well as partaking in code reviews and knowledge exchange within the engineering team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and maintain robust software solutions by writing clear, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Utilize internal deployment platforms and tools to automate software release processes, ensuring dependability and smooth rollouts.
- Engage with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to understand and implement moderately complex requirements that satisfy business goals.
- Develop and preserve unit and integration tests to uphold software quality, coupled with systematic debugging activities.
- Propose and incorporate improvements in development and deployment workflows to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Prepare and update detailed documentation covering software applications, system configurations, and deployment procedures.
- Offer technical support and resolve moderately complex issues to minimize downtime and maintain system performance.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience, with the typical background reflecting three or more years in similar roles.
